Postally used, b/w, real-photo postcard of the West Branch of the Rahway River pond in Taylor Park, the weeping willows at the edge of the pond, and the footbridge over the river. The postcard is postmarked 1940 and was sent by "Mrs. Amos" to "Master Herbert Kahn" at 14 Collins Ave in Bloomfield NJ. The sender's inked message was: "Dear Herbert, Will be looking for you Sun. 15th. I know you will be there. Sincerely, Mrs. Amos; Big party this month."
