Pre-1907, real photo postcard of the old Washington School at 374 Millburn Avenue. The postcard was sent to Mrs. Hannah J. Edwards in (Granby?) CT by Juliet F. Blood. Ms. Blood wrote on the front: "Where I used to imbibe knowledge some ten years ago. Expect me on 5/31 Saturday. Juliet F. Blood" The postcard was stamped "Mar 29" but the year did not stamp on it. The back of the postcard has on it a green one-cent Benjamin Franklin stamp, which was first issued in early 1903. The card has yellowed somewhat, especially around the edges, and has minor edge wear and bumped corners. It was purchased online from: EICHHORN; 6852 S.
