Wodell & Cottrell Terrace Plan for Mr. and Mrs. Ernest K. Halbach, 55 Stewart Road, Short Hills, July 1938. Ernest Kay Halbach (September 6, 1883-January 1958) was the President of General Dyestuff Corporation and became President oof the Verona Park Pharmaceutical Company, Union, NJ. His first wife, Elizabeth S. Halbach, died in April 1946. He later married landscape architect Helen Cecil Wodell. At the time of Halbach's death, the couple lived at 49 Forest Drive, Short Hills. This plan would have been for the 55 Stewart Road house with his first wife.
