Framed photograph of Bessie Bosworth (second from left) standing with peers from the Essex Country Hospital's basketball team. The basketball has ECH 13-14 on it and all the women are all wearing sweaters with the letter H. Bessie was one of 25 nursing students to graduate from the training school at the Essex County Hospital at Overbrook on June 16, 1914. She received a scholarship prize upon graduation.
The Essex County Hospital Girl's Basketball Team was composed of the following players: Bessie Bosworth (Manger), Margaret Hopkins (Captain), Anna McBride, Evelyn Hutchins, Jessie MacNay and Mildred Slaughter (Secretary).Acquisition
