Description

The Wellington Campbell home was constructed in the late 1850s was located at the corner of Short Hills and Millburn Avenues. To the rear, on the bank of the stream forming the border with Springfield, stood the Wellington Campbell Mill. In 1931, the site (500 Millburn Avenue) was occupied by The Chanticler restaurant. Wellington Campbell married Mary T. Wade in 1844. Their son was Dr. Wellington Campbell.
