Description

Home of Mr. and Mrs. William Shapter, 60 Great Hills Road, built around 1865. In 1957, Walter T. Flower owned the building. Prior to that, it was owned by Mrs. Danforth Geer, who established the Buxton School on the site (Now Far Brook School). William Shapter (1830-1905) was a Civil War Soldier - Private, Co. F, 27th Regiment, NJ Infantry.
