One of several prints of this photographs of the Brison House on Old Short Hills Road and Brookside Drive showing Edwin Marsh Brison and Julia Marsh seated out front. Inscription on the verso of this print reads:
"Brison Homestead, Old Short Hills Road, Millburn, NJ as was when Aunt Emily Brison and Uncle Edwin sold it.
The "Parlor" extended across the side of house by steps, house entrance is around at left. Dining room and kitchen entrance downstairs.
Uncle Edwin and Cousin Julia Marsh (daughter of Marsh of Madison, NJ) sitting on stone wall. The old oak chair showing on upper piazza was given to Emilie Benson Welsh Wiggin."Collection
