Mangold and William Frankin Mangold both worked for the Kemmerer family as chauffeurs and caretakers of the Kemmerer estate, 26 Stewart Road, Short Hills. The Kemmerers had stables and were active participants in horse shows. The location of the stables in these photographs is unclear. The Kemmerers also had a large estate in Pennsylvania.Collection
