Thirty-four page softcover booklet produced by the First National Bank of Millburn upon the bank's 40th anniversary. The Development of a Community describes the content as "being a brief history of the origin and growth of the area known as Short Hills and Millburn, -- offered as a milestone marking the fortieth Anniversary of the First National Bank of Millburn, with a phrase here and there indicating its complete banking facilities." The cover is yellowed, especially along the edges and the non-glossy, non-photo pages are more lightly yellowed, especially along the edges. Light overall soiling on the cover.Acquisition
