Car 7 on Elizabeth Division & Car 8 on Millburn Division at the Junction of Main Street & Morris Avenue, Springfield.
An ordinance passed January 16, 1905 made provision for laying of a double line of track from the D.L.&W railroad station along Main street to the Springfield line and two years later an ordinance was passed permitting the same company to extend its line from the railroad station to the Maplewood line.
The Industrial Directory of New Jersey for 1906 stated that trolley lines from Millburn connect with the Oranges, Newark. Patterson, Passaic, Elizabeth, Jersey City, and all other large towns in the middle counties of the state.Collection
