Article from the Friday, October 13, 1922 edition of the Newark Evening News about 155 Millburn Avenue, or the "Hessian House," from Mrs. Herman Wehrle's scrapbook. The article focuses on Amanda E. Reeve, who was the owner of the house at the time and the history of the house, which is referred to as "the old Henderson place." According to the article, the house was purchased by Amanda Reeve's father in 1854. The article also discusses the ingenious latch and bolt on the attic door in the house.
