Located where South Mountain School is today. The Burt Billiard Ball Company was the largest Pool Ball Works in America at the time. Site was near where South Mountain School is today. An announcement appeared in the Industrial Chronology of New Jersey, for the 8 months ending September 1902, that "the Burt Manufacturing Company, makers of celluloid novelties at Millburn, have decided to remove their plant to Bridgeport, Connecticut.
