Postcard sent to Mrs. W. Whittingham, Millburn, N.J. postmarked from London, November 21, received in New York, November 26 at 1:30 pm and in Millburn, NJ November 27, 1894. Message is dated London, England, November 20, 1894. Message on postcard reads: "My dear S. We have just returned from Paris, had a lovely time there. Spent two weeks in Switzerland and were delighted with the scenery in the Alps. You should be sure to come over here next year, it is worth a person's life to see the beautiful sights in these countries. By the way-while we were in London, we saw a very good play called: "The Cotton Kind," which is to be produced at your "Academy of Music" on December 3rd--I understand. It is well worth seeing and you should not miss it. It is the best thing in the amusement line that I have seen on this side of the water. We go to Ireland next week and spend a few days at the Lakes of Killarney-returning to America on the "Majestic" December 15. Regards to all. Yours as Ever. A."Acquisition
