Description

The third White Oak Ridge School building was constructed in 1912. This photograph is from c. 1920 and shows the stucco building, which was demolished for the construction of White Oak Ridge Park (now Gero Park). The school, which was also known as the Lincoln School, closed in September 1937, due to declining school population. The 19 students, who had been enrolled, were transferred to other elementary schools.
