Postally used, B&W photographic postcard of the second Lackawanna Railroad Station, Short Hills. Postmarked Short Hills, September 18, 1910, 12 M. Sent to Mr. M.A. Mullaney, Mystic Connecticut. Message reads: "This is where we landed Sept 1st 9 PM. Tired, hungry, thirsty and discouraged. Work heals all wounds and here we are ourselves again. Almonds."
This replaced the previous station built by Stewart Hartshorn, which was demolished in 1907.Collection
