Newspaper clippings from page 32 of the scrapbook belonging to the Flanagan family (44 Mechanic Street, Millburn). Topics include an article entitled "Sagacious Dog in Millburn Performs Forty-Two Tricks" (Newark Evening News, Sunday, August 24, 1902,) describing the 8-year-old Collie and Irish Setter cross named Beautiful Bill, owned by Millburn resident Calvin H. Moore. Preparation for reception of Bishop O'Conner at St. Rose's Catholic Church in Millburn, where confirmation will be performed in the school. Reverend Thomas A. Wallace and Reverend D. F. McCarthy will perform the confirmation. The bishop will preach at the 8 pm service. A trotting race was held on Millburn Avenue between horses owned by George F. Ell and Charles W. Littlefield.
