Pamphlet published by John Henry Schmidt & Son Nurseries highlighting Boxwood Trees. 4 pp., illustrated with B&W photographs. The nursery was founded in 1929 and specialized in Boxwood plantings had two locations: Native Plants were in Millburn, Landscape Contractors were in Short Hills. The firm passed to his sons Nicholas Carroll Schmidt and Frank M. Schmidt.
Frank Schmidt served as President of the New Jersey Association of Nurserymen, was a member of the Millburn Township Committee, Volunteer Fire Chief and a member of the Millburn Shade Tree Commission.Acquisition
