This house is an example of how an architect would combine features from several colonial periods. The portico is Greek Revival in the Doric order, although in true Doric, the fluted shafts would not rest upon a base. In this order, the frieze is composed of triglyphs and metopes and the pediment is left plain. The hipped roof and dormers are Georgian.Collection
