Caption reads: "These greenhouses are conveniently located for both wholesale and retail trade as they are convenient to the large number of retail customers residing in Short Hills, Millburn and vicinity and at the same time are near the station, enabling prompt shipments to be made to the wholesale customers in New York City. The eight greenhouses conducted by Mr. Jones were established as far back as 1881, and the business has gained year by year, new customers having been added and the old ones retained. Mr. Jones raises Orchids, Carnations, Sweet Peas, Forget-Me-Nots, Calendulas, Wall Flowers, etc., and also sells a large number of Geraniums, Coleas and other bedding plants. Ornamental trees may be had here also.
