Pamphlet from the Millburn Board of Education endorsing expansion of the Millburn School facilities, "Why Millburn Must Have Additional School Facilities: Proposals to be submitted to the voters at a special election, June 17th, 1920, at 8 P.M. in the George Washington School Millburn. 12 pp., illustrated with graphs and floor plans. Among the proposals are: acquisition of a plot of land for the construction of a modern high school on the portion of the "Bryson" (sic) tract fronting on Old Short Hills Road and just north of the Lackawanna Railroad. Acquisition of this land was made possible by Joseph P. Day agreed to offer the land for $4,000/acre. The plan also calls for the expansion of the Wyoming school and suggests an increase in the Millburn tax rate.
