Postcard from which the photograph for the Centennial Collection was taken of the First Trolley Car between Millburn & Summit on December 18, 1905.
The first car on the Morris County Traction Company trolley line between Summit and Millburn at the Delaware, Lackawanna & Western Railroad Station on Main Street in Millburn.
An ordinance passed January 16, 1905 made provision for laying of a double line of track from the D.L.&W railroad station along Main street to the Springfield line and two years later an ordinance was passed permitting the same company to extend its line from the railroad station to the Maplewood line.Collection
