Sorority/Fraternity Invitation to a Party at the Chanticler
Entry/Object ID
2010.096.001
Scope and Content
This invitation was in a scrapbook purchased at an estate sale. The young woman who created the scrapbook kept memorabilia from events at her school (secretarial? junior college?). Corners are bumped and edges show light wear. The June 23, 1937 graduation dance to which guests were invited was at the Chanticler in Millburn, at 9:00 pm. The invitation looks like a ticket, is teal-colored, and has light overall soiling. The back has faint evidence of having been glued to the page of the scrapbook.
