Dark blue pinafore with "American Red Cross; Volunteer" patch at top center of bib. The pinafore ties in the back, at the waist and fastens with a hook and eye at the neck. There is one patch pocket at the front, on the wearer's right hip. The pinafore shows gentle overall fading, probably from laundering.
