1930 wedding gown for Lillian Swain Trowbridge . Made of China silk at the beginnning of the depression, this gown shows the influence of the 1920's in its straight austere bodice and simple flounced skirt . Gown was laid flat and measured side to side at the waist for the width. Length was measured from shoulder to hem. Its only decorations are its three lush cabbage roses. Overall shattering of silk. Lillian Swain married September 3, 1930.
