Description
Black and white photograph of what was probably the Bancroft Gherardi garden, which was landscaped by Wodell and Cotrell. Tall cypress-type trees seen in background and trunk of a deciduous tree leans diagonally across the photo from left middle to upper right corner of the image. In pencil on back: "May 34"
Bancroft Gherardi lived in a 14 room home with greenhouse located on Parsonage Hill Road and Adams Avenue. His wife, Mary Butler Gherardi sold the property to W. Palin Conway in November 1942.
