Coffee urn with two handles, lion engraved directly above spigot (dented).
Edith L. Traver (Mrs. Alva F. Traver) was the second President of the Millburn Woman's Club. She remained active in the club until 1937, when she and her husband moved to Florida. Marked: Warranted Best London Manufacture. Donated upon their disbanding. The Woman's Club silver collection was formed by contributions made by members of the club, who purchased silver tea pieces in honor of outgoing presidents. The pieces were inscribed in honor of the departing president and were presented to the incoming President. This was the first silver piece to enter the Woman's Club collection. "An honor gift of a beautiful Sheffield silver cofrfee urn and tray was given in her name (Mrs. Alva Traver) to the club in recognition of her splendid term of office." The Bulletin, March 1960.
