Scope and Content

This document is a summary of the known history of the subject land and building at 13560 Cogburn Road from its first known title in 1880 from (James G. Bowen to Jesse Webb and included 120 acres) through 2023. Tax records show the house constructed circa 1900. The structure has been renovated twice, once circa 1945 when the Darracott family took ownership and raised their family there and a second time in 2009 when St. Aiden's Episcopal Church using it for offices and meeting space. There was also a memorial plaque placed there in memory of John Wallice who died in the 2001 bombing of the World Trade Center. Transfer of deeds are listed along with photos, maps and other key information in the addenda.
