Uniform created for soldier's son. Dinah (donators mother) created the uniform for the donators 3 year old brother in 1960. He wore it on the ship crossing from La, Germany, back to Canada. The material came from her fathers old uniform. The red square is for the 1st Canadian Division. The uniform style matched her fathers suit. The buttons, the belt, and all the patches come from the original uniform. She would have created her own pattern from the large suit. Her mother was a skilled seamstress and that skill was passed onto her two daughters.Collection
