Description

Ladies yellow leather, left-hand, elbow-length glove. Two brown plastic-covered metal snaps. Wrist inscribed on the outside "BACMO MAKE BLMO"; on the inside on metal "F Co U.S.A." Brown stitching on back of hand. Stamped inside of arm "IS SS" "7436" and in purple "6 washable B". Located in Gloversville, NY, Bacmo was one of over 200 that once operated in the city and gave the city its name. The company history includes being one of several factories that was involved in the Glove Cutters Strike in 1914.
