Hinged felt-lined wooden box containing 18 stainless steel weights, ranging from 5 - 500mg and 1 - 100g, in felt lined compartments. Also contains tweezers. An acrylic lid covers the small mg weights in an inner compartment. Appears the 1 -3mg weights are missing as this set has 21 labeled compartments but only 18 weights.
Box has a red and white label which reads: NRC Applied Chemistry. Also has a red and white label with handwriting in blue pen, reading: Stainless Steel Weights - Textile Section - (Purchased Feb. 1949Collection
