Description

A series of 7 hand embroidered tea towels used in the exhibition "Over Here: Women, work and WWII. Each tea towel depicts a different woman from the WWII period and their role in history. After the passing of her husband, Johnnene Maddison went through many stages of grief, expressing this through the process of drawing, painting and stitching works.
