Flag of Great Britain, also known as the Union Jack flag or Union flag. Red, blue and white in colour on a wooden stick. The colours of the flag incorporates the national symbols of England, Scotland and Northern Ireland (St. George's Cross - England, St. Andrew's Cross - Scotland, and St. Patrick's Cross - Ireland) . The Union Jack flag was a maritime flag used between 1606-1801. In 1908, Parliament made the Union Jack the official national flag of Great Britain.
