The escutcheon contains five images: green maple leaves representing Canada (bottom), Irish harp of Tara (middle left), three fleur to lis representing France (middle right), red lion of Scotland (top right), and three golden lions symbolizing England (top left). This Canadian red ensign using this design was used between 1921 and 1957. This flag is mounted on a wooden stick.Collection
