Description

Associated with 2017.08.01-15. Dark blue wool military coat from a RCAF uniform. 4 Brass buttons cast with [RCAF] and some with a plane on the front button up the front. There are 4 additional buttons on both left and right breast pocket and waist pocket. In the right breast pocket and waist pocket were a few fragments of paper and a photography (See 2017.08.10). Above the left breast pocket is a patch embroidered with a wing and the letter "E". Around the waist is a belt of the same navy wool with a buckle. The interior of the jacket is lined with a synthetic fabric in a lighter shade of blue. There are 2 labels on the interior right breast pocket. The first black embroidered on in silver [Dover's Ltd / Cornwall / Kingston / Ottawa ] The second is in the interior of the right breast pocket, white and stamped with black text [ Amalgamated General Works / Copywrite 1939 / by ACW of A ] There is no size on this coat but the shoulder width is 18 inches.
