General Notes

Note

The Merrimack Valley Textile Museum was a major source of inspiration for the volunteers who founded the Mississippi Valley Textile Museum. They had visited the site in Lowell Massachusetts and presumably that is how the books in this Found in Collections accession were acquired. Unfortunately, the Merrimack Valley Textile Museum permanently closed in 2016, but it continues to be a source of inspiration for the Mississippi Valley Textile Museum.
