Description

Scrapbook of Pinecraft Ltd of Almonte, Ontario. Inscription on inside cover says, " Many thanks to you Jack for your wonderful work, Jack 'McDowall'". Photographs document 1960s-1980s Pinecraft, the people who worked, the building and surrounding area. Signatures are located on the inside back cover of the album. There is also a cutout of a newspaper article adhered to the inside back cover. The article is titled "High cost, slow sales kill Almonte furniture maker". Pinecraft Wood Furniture was housed in the former Victoria Woolen Mill.
