Newspaper clipping of an Transcription: "Auction sale of Valuable water power and Roller Mills I have been instructed by W.H. Stafford, Assignee, of the estate of Robert Merilees, of the Township of Ramsay, Miller, and Insolvent, to offer by sale by Public Auction, at Merilees' Flour Mill at Blakeney, at one o'clock in the afternoon of Saturday, 13th day of Nov., '09 The Roller Mill and water power in connection therein known as Merilees' Flour Mill. In addition to the valuable water-power there is over 1.5 acres of land upon which are erected the following buildings: a two storey frame iron rooted roller mill, 40x49 with store house 30x30 and 20x49. The mill is equipped with first-class machinery and is in good running order capacity of mill 125 barrels per day. There are also erected on said premises a good frame dwelling house one and one-half stories and two one storey additions. This is a rare opportunity for any person wishing to purchase a good milling buisness or a good water-power for any purpose. At the same time and place I will sell by Public Auction the following goods and chattles;: 1 pair general purpose mare, one Bain wagon, heavy; one Bain waggon, heavy; one single pair sloops, one single sleigh, one bread van, gearing and sloops, one cutter, one buggy, one express rigm two sets double harness, two sets single harness, two oil covers for waggons, two ladders, block and chains, 2,000 short bags, 1,100 cotton flour bags, 105 jute bags, 250 paper flour bags, 250 paper flour bags, one platform scales capacity 1,500 lbs, one platforms scales, capacity 500 lbs, one grain tester, one jackscrew, one proof stall and level, two hand rollers, one brush machine, one coal-oil tank, two sides ..? and a quantity of toerh articles too numerous to mention.
