Document from the Sterling Bank of Canada which states a promise to pay the amount of $15.75 three months after the receipt was dated. The receipt was dated February 20, 1913. In red pen the date May 23 is written as a reminder of the three month limit. The receipt is stamped "May 13 1913", "The property of the Sterling Bank of Canada Almonte" as well as with "PAID June 10 1913". There are two signatures on the bottom of the receipt, one by John Fulton and the other illegible. On the reverse side there is a "Pay to the order of the Sterling Bank of Canada" stamp with an illegible, scratched out signature.
