There is other writing on the paper. The first appears to be a name and looks like it is written in the same handwriting as Greig & Greig but the other writing is different and contains the date 1901.
If you hold it up to the light you can also see the paper has a watermark in the shape of a lion and words which apear to be Eanschiffe Linen Bond.Collection
