LIONS CHICFEN BAREECIE - 2:45 to 6 p.m. at Gem- mill Park. MONDAY, AUGUST 2nd FIREMEN'S PANCAKE BREAKFAST - starting 7 a.m. at Che i ire Hall. ROAD GENTS' SOAP BOX DERBY - 12 noon. Mill Street. WATER SPORTS - 2 p.m. at the beach, N.L.A.S, grounds. INTERFATTH SERVICE - 7:30 p.m. at Gemmill Park. T-BALL - 6:30 p.m. at Gemmill Park diamond. TUESDAY, AUGUST 3rd TOWN LEAGUE SOFTBALL - 8 p.m. at Gemmill Park. WALK-IN CINEMA - 9 p.m. at Park behind new Post Office (weather permitting ) WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 4th JUNIOR OLYMPICS -- "Parade of the Provinces." Leaves 10 a.m. from High School to Gemmill Park. FREE INVITATIONAL LAWN BOWLING - 7 p.m. at Almonte Bowling Greens (open to everyone). BIKE PALI Y - starts 7 n.m. at Youth Centre, approximately 5 miles in length. Prizes in all age groups. Register at Youth Centre. MISSISSIPPI FASTBALL - 8 p.m. at Gemmill Park. WATFRMFI ON EATING CONWST - following Bike Rally at Youth Centre (13 years and under). MONTE CARLO NIGHT - 8 p.m. at Naismith School. FRIDAY, AUGUST 6th MERCHANTS' SIDEWALK SALE - 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. in downtown area. SHANTY SUPPER - 5 to 7 p.m. at St. Mary's. NIGHTSHIRT PARADE - starts 7:30 p.m. from Community Centre. SQUARE DANCING - 8 p.m. at Naismith School, (tentative). SATURDAY, AUGUST 7th ABLE BODIED DANCE - featuring "Cain", 9 p.m. at N.L.A.S. LIONS '71 DANCE - 8 p.m. at Naismith School. Bermuda Draw and Paintings Draw (sponsored by Almonte General Hospital Staff Association). DRAW FOR 25 PRIZES in Merchants' Draw. SUNDAY, AUGUST 8th "SYMPHONY IN BRASS" - 2 n.m. at N.L.A.S. grounds. Fourth band competition sponsored by Revel- 1'erg Drum Corus. Band to parade from Naismith School at 1:30 p.m. ANNUAL FASTBALL TOURNAMENT - starts 9:30 n.m. at Gemmill Park diamond. 8 team competition.
