This tied double cloth coverlet made by Aaron Zelner has bands of red, indigo, and green on a natural white ground. It is one of three identical coverlets known to have been made by Zelner for the Groff family between 1856 and 1860.
It features a corner cartouch which reads "MADE BY A ZELNER WATERLOO TOWNSHIP FOR MARY ANN GROFF".Collection
