Bright red wool on natural white cotton. Tied double cloth.
Not signed but matches the style of the Noll Brothers.
The floral diamond pattern and stylized floral border were typical of the Noll brothers in the 1880s and 1890s. Centre seam is expertly matched. Many coverlets from the Nolls often feature a cartouche with the customer's name but it is assumed that they also would have kept a few non-custom coverlets like this one in stock.Collection
