Postcard with photograph Almonte town hall, bridge and adjacent street. Two gentlemen are walking just past the Townhall. Across the street in front of the two brick buildings with the advertisement of W.J. Downall, flour and feed on the side is a woman and two young girls. There is a white horse and carriage crossing the bridge. The image is in brown tones. Postcard caption; Town Hall Square, Almonte, Ontario Addressed to: 'Mrs. May Gurskey 571 Somerset St., Ottawa Ont. ' Transcription: 'Almonte July 15/21 My dearest friend. Hope you and Mr.G are well. As for us we are having such a glourious time that I hate to think of going away next month. Although I will have a good time in Almonte. Arnprior too. Do write me to Arnprior next week. Bye Bye with love Lizzie. '
