A good example of industrial Jacquard weaving. Light blue wool on white cotton ground. Shows typical late Victorian floral and geometric design with classical Greek inspired motifs.
Has an inscription in centre reading “early to bed and early to rise makes a man healthy, wealthy and wise. The pattern was registered April 14, 1881.Collection
