Scope and Content

Town of Almonte Financial Records - With the seal of the Corporaton of the town of Almonte. These are detailed statments of Receipts - and - expenditures, dating from between 1888 - 1904, 1906, 1908, 1909 and 1911. Each is printed on white paper, most are a single legal size page folded in half, or 24 by 36cm pages folded in half to form a booklet of 2 legal size pages. All are printed on in black ink, however, some have pencil marks and notes. These records detail city spending, taxes and other information. Names of inhabitents are listed and thus this document can be used as a referance for spelling of names for individuals who lived in Almonte between 1888 - 1911.
