Canadian Jewel brand mason jar containing 25 pay envelopes for Jas. (James) Guthrie from the Rosamond Woolen Mill from 1938-1939. Stored in glass quart sealer. These envelopes had deductions taken from the wage due to Mr. Guthrie taking out a mortgage from the Rosamond Woolen Mill because he was unable to get a mortgage from the bank.
