Terry Gorman was born in Almonte and worked in the Rosamond mill from 1966 to 1979. He went to St. Mary's Catholic School, Almonte High School and Algonquin College. Terry moved up from low level jobs in the mill to working in the dye house and eventually to accounting and management. He also worked as an ambulance attendent at night to supplement his income and was among the first EMTs to receive CPR and defibrilator training. In his interview he talks about working conditions in the dye house, the layout of the mill, market trends, religous devision, and entertainment.Collection
