Lloyd started working at the mill at thirteen years old as a bobbin boy while the mill made uniforms. He talked about Zephyr Textile and how he worked maintenance. He talked about the dye house and how the leftover dye would be dumped into the river and described the mill’s boiler. He talked about wages, a fire in the mill, its decline, the mill worker’s reunion, and community life.
