VIDEO INTERVIEW Interviewer: Marilyn Snedden Interview Date: June 11, 2013 Bruce was the building inspector at the time the mill was converted to condominiums after 1984. Bruce was born in Lanark, Scotland. He worked as a criminal investigator for the Glasgow police where he learned about law. He studied stationary engineering at Glasgow University and renewed his certification at Algonquin College. He was Almonte's Cheif Building Official and was responsible for inspecting the Millfall condominums after the Rosamond mill was renovated in 1984. He inspected and provided occupancy certificates for every condo unit in the building. He was later elected to the town council of Almonte and served for 3 years. He also worked for the Ontario alchohol and gaming comission in Toronto. In his interview he discusses the interior layout and condition of the building before and after renovation as well as the people and groups involved. Video recording available.
