TRANSCRIBED VIDEO INTERVIEW - video available Interviewer: John Hannigan Interview Date: June 22, 2013 Muriel remembers working at the Rosamond Mill when the Second World War ended, where she started working when she was 23 years old. She worked as a spinner and a winder at Rosamond and described the process. Then she worked as a weaver at the Thoburn mill for about five years. She described shuttles on the loom and enjoyed working in the mills. She discussed shift work, wages, unions, machine repair, the Collie bus, and community life.
